David M. Katz is the author of four books of poetry—In Praise of Manhattan, Stanzas on Oz, and Claims of Home, all published by Dos Madres Press, and The Warrior in the Forest, published by House of Keys Press. Poems of his have appeared in Poetry, The Paris Review, The Hudson Review, The New Criterion, PN Review (UK), and elsewhere. He posts frequently on his website, The David M. Katz Poetry Blog (davidmkatzpoet.com). His criticism has appeared in The Hopkins Review, Contemporary Poetry Review, Birmingham Poetry Review, Jewish Quarterly (UK), and Congress Monthly. A co-host of the Morningside Poetry Series, he is married to the poet Linda Stern. Together, they founded and published Endymion, a poetry journal.
Henry Weinfield’s most recent collections of poetry include An Alphabet (2022), As the Crow Flies (2021), A Wandering Aramaean (2012), and Without Mythologies: New and Selected Poems and Translations (2008)—all published by Dos Madres Press. His verse-translations include versions of the Collected Poems of Stéphane Mallarmé (Univ. of California Press, 1994), Hesiod’s Theogony and Works and Days (in collaboration with Catherine Schlegel; Univ. of Michigan Press, 2006), The Chimeras of Gérard de Nerval (Dos Madres, 2019), and The Labyrinth of Love: Selected Sonnets and Other Poems of Pierre de Ronsard (Parlor Press, 2021). He is also the author of a number of critical studies, including The Blank-Verse Tradition from Milton to Stevens (Cambridge Univ. Press, 2012). A native of Montreal, he taught at the University of Notre Dame from 1991 to 2019 and now lives in New York City.
